The drawings are made entirely during the ‘real time’ of the event; they are not taken away or altered afterwards. Each is an impression of many aspects of the whole event often with incomplete or overlapping images and the same person appearing several times (if they have been moving around a lot!); not the ‘single moment’ of a photograph.
